We’ll leave for Greve in Chianti, through a landscape of renowned and unique beauty with its hills, vineyards, olive trees and rows and cypresses along the roads. The “borgo” of Greve is known as the “porta del Chianti”, the very gateway to the Chianti region. We’ll also visit the medieval “borgo” of Montefioralle, one of the most famous and charming in Italy. One can take a walk through its cobbled lanes and enjoy the characteristic, remarkable atmosphere of these winelands par excellence.
We’ll lunch in a local tavern, with typical dishes.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit one of the many castles nearby, up on the Florentine hills. The cellars offer an ample choice of the best Chiantis.
Return late in the afternoon to the city chosen for the start.
